Washing every other day question?

Howdy everyone,
Well I posted earlier saying that I recently purchased some Aussie Mega shampoo and conditioner. Initially, the results were fantastic, but after three days in a row of using it, my results were only good and not as awesome as they were especially the first day. I'm thinking maybe I should start washing with it every other day, and then washing it with just water on the off days. My questions are to those who dont wash their haur every day.
Do you find that if you dont wash every day, the days that you do wash you get much better reults with your shamp/conditioner? I'm trying to get the results I had on my first day with Aussie Mega. And I'm one of the types that always use to wash their hair every day, so this will be a new thing to me. Comments and advice are welcome! Thanks.

I wash every three days and my hair is the worst the day following the washing. However, this is just the way that my hair reacts to shampoo..you may find different results

Ooh! Ooh! Teacher! Can I answer the question?
I think what you are experiencing is product buildup. Anytime you get results like you described (awesome at first, then not-so-awesome), this is the diagnosis. I think there are two solutions. a) Wash once a week with clarifying shampoo or b) switch back and forth between shampoos and conditioners. Try that and see if that helps.

Doesn't matter. 9 times out of 10, if the product isn't working as well as it initally did, it's product buildup. Don't ask me why it happens, it just does.
