Salon Horror Story

My wife was catching up on her blogs last night when she found an entry by a friend of her's (heretofore referred to as Jane), detailing a recent trip to the salon.
Her friend had (emphasis on word had) waist-length hair, and specifically told the stylist all she wanted was a small trim. The stylist said she would look better with short hair. Jane repeated her instructions for a small trim, this time very sternly. The stylist ignored her request, and proceeded to trim off a chunk of hair just below her shoulders.
The sudden loss of weight in her hair alerted Jane to what the stylist had done and, understandably, went ballistic. The Manager came over, apologized profusely for the incident, and completed the trim while preserving as much of Jane's remaining length as possible.
Shortly after returning home, Jane received a call from the Manager of the salon, informing her that the stylist had been fired. She also promised Jane that she would personally take care of all of her styling needs for a year, free of charge.
Word to the wise... be careful of who you have cut your hair.
What a lousy hairstylist...

Can you imagine being informed TWICE by the customer that she wanted
a SMALL trim...and then ignoring that customer's wishes COMPLETELY.
wHAT A LOUSY, self-willed stylist that was!!!

You think? It will take years to regrow what was removed with that cut. A year's worth of hair cuts is meaningless. I only have my hair trimmed 1/2" every 3-6 months.

That stylist was lucky she didn't have her scissor hand broken into 300 pieces! I'm glad I get my hair cut for free anyway ^_^

thankfully, my mother stands watch over the process of a trim, so i dont get any 'mishaps' when going to a salon.
i certianly do feel terrible for what happened to her. all those years of growing, gone in a single snip of the scissors... :(
