Hail Brothers and Sisters!!! I am new to this board but I have been enjoying perusing the various posts, for quite some time now. I myself am 21 years old and currently live in Toronto, Canada. I have long fine blonde hair, down to my shoulders, and decided to grow it for various reasons. First and foremost I am of Viking descent hence the cultural aspect. Secondly, I am very involved in the TRUE METAL community and have a website that supports TRUE METAL bands (Manowar, Hammerfall, Iron Maiden, Virgin Steele, Lost Horizon etc). I hope the link below works, as it is a picture of me from about 6 months ago. LOL, it is not the most flattering picture for it was taken at about 5AM...oh well.

Everyone here seems so kind, so a MIGHTY HAIL to you ALL for being such pleasent individuals. I look forward to adding to the positive nature this board embraces! Let us see, anything else? I'm a University student at The University Of Toronto...you can spot me easily as I am always in leathers and chainmalle. Unfortunately, most think I'm a mean person and won't even approach me, as they judge the book by its cover. However, the reality is I don't drink, smoke do any drugs and I like watching Disney films and napping...so there's little if nothing to be worried about...well apart from the fact that I like Disney films. ANYHOO! I sometimes wish men with long hair was slightly more popular...*sniff*...as it seems difficult to have people, in my case women, even let you through the door because they find it looks "dark or sinister". Oh well...don't fall in it. Get it? Well...don't fall in it? LIKE A WELL??? As in the kinda well you get water from? Ok I'm done. I look forward to posting! Take care! Oh, I've been growing my hair for slightly over 2 years.

You look pretty dratting good for 5am! I look like I'm on drugs at that hour. Anyway, I think it's unfortunate that people judge you prematurely, you sound like an awesome person...anyone who likes naps gets brownie points from me! And you're a straight-edge, very cool. I admire you for holding true to your culture and hertitage...I wouldn't have the guts to do it. Don't worry what other people think. I'd let you through a door ^_^
I'm at State University of New York at Potsdam (which is just about as close to Canada as you can get from the state side!). Just in case anyone was curious. But I digress. Hope you'll stick around awhile!

  *sigh* Thanks for your nice comments! I was worried that for whatever reason my message wouldn't post, but I then remembered that some messages are now being screened. Anyhow, thanks for the kind words as it has made my day! I am off to school soon, but first must I shampoo and condition with Pantene Pro V...*sigh* I love the smell! I also love the smell of chlorine. Anyhow, that's my random comment and yes I would like to stick around for a good time as I have lots of questions still regarding hair...especially what to do with mine, as it is sooooo fine that it has no body and just drooops over my face. lol.

Yes, a nice bunch here. Not really surprising though, since
most longhairs seem to be friendly for one reason or another.
Your hair looks like it has a great texture to it!
