What I am wondering about is this "electrical ionic brush" thing that Patrik has spoke of. He says it "revitalizes" your hair. What does this mean? Does it make the hair healthier somehow, strengthin' it somehow, etc.? If this is the fact, then this would be something worth buying. My hair is beginning to look ragged a bit, as if it is becoming damaged and unhealthy. It might just be me, but lately that's how it seems. Patrik's hair looked pretty healthy in the pics he recently presented a few posts down. I would like to know more about this "electrical ionic brush", is there a web-site someone might know about maybe. Peace!

Don't get me wrong, Rob, there is no way I am going to cut this stuff ever again, man. Except maybe to even it out a bit and maintain it once it gets to mid-back or further. I was just wondering about this Ionic brush and what it does. I found it on the web last night and this is what they had to say about it:
Product Detail: Brookstone's Ionic Hair Brush counters daily hair damage by emitting negatively charged ions, leaving hair healthier and more manageable, with greater body and shine. It actually cleans your hair and removes odors while you brush. Ball-tip nylon bristles invigorate your scalp. |
Hope the pic works this time...

It generates negative (positive they say, but I am pretty sure it's negative) ions. Which supposedly breaks down water molecules into "micro fine particles" that penetrates the hair, closing the hair cuticles, leaving it smoother, shinier etc.
It basically makes your hair look and feel newly conditioned by simply brushing it for 2 minutes.
I've only had it for a couple of days, but my hair usually get very thin and flat looking (lifeless) with no volume about 24-48 hours after a wash, or leaving it in a tale for a day or so. I tried the brush, and it imidiately looked newly washed, and the volume was restored. My hair has also newer felt this silky, while at the same time having it's volume.
The bio ionic straightener, dryer and other products works in the same way. But instead of electrically generating the negative ions like this brush, they generate them naturally somehow...
Or at least this is what I've read... I've seen several electrical brushes like this one, ranging from $15 to about $55. I have the sharper image one (the pro version, which is rechargable).
Defenetely worth the money.
