Long Hair Surprise

We are currently visiting my in-laws for their 50th anniv. My wife is one of 2 daughters, don't often see my brother-in-law due to geography.
Much to my surprise when he arrived he had longer hair than I! It has been over 2 years since we've seen each other. We both had moderately long hair the last time, but this was a big shock. Very cool.
BTW, I'm 48 and he is 53. Not a soul at the party (in a retirement community) made any remark, they were all well behaved, LOL.
