OK, I know a lot of you guys could care less about football, but upon watching the BUCS play today I spied a longhaired guy on the Dallas Cowboy's. His hair is much longer than in his profile pic. Check him out at: http://www.dallascowboys.com/profile_campbell_dan.cfm
So, I'm just curious.... who are you're favorite sport's longhairs???
Go BUCS!!!
Keep it Long!!!

i'm into tennis so...world #3 and reigning Wimbledon Champion Roger Federer is one of my faves. he kinda has the same hair as Dan Campbell but darker in colour. In fact Roger's coach, Peter Lundgren looks exactly like Dan Campbell but a bit older. hehe...

I don't think I really admire sports stars because of their hair. As a football (Soccer) fan the thing I admire most is winning the game.
But David Beckham (Real Madrid) is a particularly adventurous longhair. And Robbie Savage (Birmingham City) has pretty cool hair too.

although in the aport i enjoy more, basketball, the bald look is in... for obvious reasons...
there many football (soccer) players in europe with really awesome looking long hair... just watch a game from spain or italy to see what i am talking about...
I remember watching the national team of spain play on tv... one in two players had long, or longish hair...

There are at least two guys on the Packers with midshoulder length dreads. I think it looks very cool, but I wonder if they don't get pulled, whether accidentally or not.
Jeremy Shockey (NY Giants) looks like he may be growing his hair long.
I get the feeling that Johnny Damon (Red Sox) is planning to grow his hair out based on some comments regarding why he wouldn't shave his head with the rest of the team in their subsequnt loss in the ALCS.
There were some great longer hair styles on baseball players in the 70s, but I think for the most part, the owners and league are trying to make players look more uniform, so I think it's fairly discouraged.
When Eric Gagne (Dodgers) was beginning to gain notoriety last year, I remember much was made of his seemingly permanent awkard stage-like poof, which the analysts thought aided in his "weird look" to keep hitters off balance.
And speaking of poofs, Ben Wallace (Pistons) may have the best hair currently in sports.
