Longhairs - a majority

Not everywhere, of course, but if you visit the Belgian Long Hair site (URL below) you will find a poll which asks you if you are a man or a woman and whether your hair is short or long.
The current state of the poll has a clear majority of long haired male visitors, and there is a female redhead with amazing hair on page 93, and who has a shoulder length haired partner.
This may not be deep, or significant, but it's a nice change to be part of a majority.

You're only the majority because it is a site designed for long hairs. It's like going to an NAACP meeting and being suprised you're not the only colored person there.

Yeah, but his posting is somehow kinda philosphical, isn't it? ;)

It's a site for people who like to see long hair on women. What I found interesting was that the majority of those who visited the site and voted in the poll were long haired men. I would have expected that the proportions of visitors would roughly match the general population.
PS There aren't enough philosophers around nowadays.

The redhead on page 93 does have some remarkable hair. However, and let me that that this is just MY opinion, it is ruined by the bangs she has cut. Long hair that I admire most is long all over.

It seems to me that more and more guys are wearing their hair long, it's just that the media (TV, Movies, ads etc.) doesn't reflect reality--imagine that! Today while coming home from work on the train I couldn't help but notice that there were almost as many guys in the car with pony tails as women and almost all of them had what could be classified as longish hair.

The hip length now is something like an early Beatles style, not really long, but not short either. Actors haven't caught up. I think they have short hair so they can do a range of parts. Human nature being what it is, they don't want to wear wigs, though, so they wind up portraying anything contemporary as being a short haired role. IMHO, most short haired people I know don't have their hair as short as most actors do.
Any actors reading this? Take notes!

I selected the French language option, and found different results entirely:-
Vous êtes (you are) :
un homme aux cheveux courts 48.8% (a man with short hair)
une femme aux cheveux longs 32.9% (a woman with long hair)
un homme aux cheveux longs 12.2% (a man with long hair)
une femme aux cheveux courts 6.1% (a woman with short hair)
Total votes: 82
Perhaps there are two separate polls?
