If its long enough to get into a half ponytail which it prolly isnt yet do that. I wouldnt know what else to do i always wore bandanas in my akward stage.

you can use a flat iron...they work very well at keeping your hair straight...just be careful using them...keep the iron moving, so you won't damage your hair...

Either get used to it, or start straightening, because that's your hair type.

Just wait until the back & sides get longer. Until then...hats and gel work!

Stop cutting it and the effects of gravity will help straighten it out.

Most likely you can't as the ends are not long enough yet for gravity to do its job. It would most likely be best of all to cease any haircuts for a long time. Of course you can always resort to straightners for short term help........but this can be rather harsh on the hair (as I have read) and diminish the strength of the hair. Just hang-in-there. Good Luck.

Use a blow dryer, blow the opposite way of the flip and then finish by blowing it back. I get flips too.

My hair's probably a lot like yours. I blow dry it and use a brush to straighten it out. Works great. For shampoo and conditioner and hair creme I use the Matrix Sleek Look products (bright orange containers). My hair is fine but thick, wavy to downright curly, but with these products and blow dryer, my hair's as straight as they other guys on this site. It's about 4-5 inches long now, one trim a couple months ago. Josh

take a shower at night and sleep on it while it is stile wet. works for my hair: thick, heavy, and wavy. I use Garnier fructisse normal shampoo and conditioner every time.

Mine did that when I was growing it out, but after it gets past the shoulders, it will quit flipping out. If you go to Sally's you can buy Beyond the Zone Board Straight or straight shot. this helps alot too. it is also inexpensive. you can let it dry with this on it or blow it dry straight using a brush.
in what sense
