Sikh religion is a 500 years old religion and from that time onwards the practise of keeping long hair has been started. the sikhs who have faith in the religion and honour the religion will never cut his hair which he is growing since his birth for any instance. The length depends on the nature, texture, quality of the hair.My hair is soft, silky without any curl. Both of my parents have beautiful long hair and so is the heredity. I,my wife, parents all of us have very long hair and we all take care of our hair well. But it is first time in our family that I am facing problem with split end and it becomes most prominent if I do braided my hair.

So you are saying you can't even cut off split ends?
Hmmm...maybe this would be one instance that singeing would be useful! hehehe That would be using fire to remove split ends instead of actually cutting...

And since you wouldn't be actually removing a hair from your body by burning the ends (even though trimming doesn't either), it wouldn't be a violation, would it?
These are the details that I wonder about in the face of religions with impractical rules.
Sounds Like a plan....n/t
