Probably just how your genes are, but you might start to grow more facial hair later in life.
I don't grow any facial hair besides on my chin.

I highly doubt masturbating would help in the growing of facial hair but def a quick fix if ur that damn horny. Not to sure about the vitamin stuff, like Jonty posted, it might just be your genes. Just give it time some guys get it earlier and some later.

Are you trying to say that guys with beards are wankers? ;-)
Nah, I'm joking. In any case, you're still young. I'm 19 and have a fairly full beard but my moustache is still wispy and I'm missing the patches of hair that should join my moustache to the rest of my beard. Underneath my chain, it's mad. I guess we all level out later in life. In any case, if evolution's anything to go by we'll get less and less hairy with time. Don't fret, man.

First of all, I've heard that looking to your mother's side of the family is just an old wive's tale. Maybe it works the majority of the time, but it may not be 100% accurate, so don't be the farm on that.
Secondly, you need patience and time!!!!!!! (sounds like a song, eh?) Although some guys can grow killer facial hair at 15 or 16 (I was always jealous of those few guys in high school that could), many others need to wait until 17, 18 or 19 to grow even modest hair. And (you may not want to hear this) but still other guys don't start growing facial (or body hair) until thier early 20s, and in some cases it doesn't fill in and get more dense until late 20s or even late 30s!!! (Mine is dense on the chin but not on the cheeks, who knows it may get more dense by the time I'm 40).
I remember how I just couldn't wait to grow facial hair, and have sported some ever since I could at age 17 with nice sideburns (actually I could grow some hair under my chin at 16, and at 15 started getting body hair). Then at 19 I could grow a decent goatee. I suppose by 21 I could have grown a decent full beard, but I waited until I was 29 to do so (and at 30 still have a full beard). I've never grown tired of shaving around it or trimming it either.

Hi I'm 15 years old and I'm just wondering how long would it take to grow a full goatee. I started shaving when I was 14 and at that time it took a while to grow a decent mustache. Right now it takes me about 3-5 weeks to grow a decent mustache. I could grow side burns and I have hair on my chain, but most of it is light hair. Does light facial hair grow to be long? How many weeks would take it take to grow a goatee that is at least 2 inches long. If I keep shaving until I'm 17 years old, would my beard be thick by then. Thanks.

a lot of men don't have beardgrowth until their 20.. i myself am 25 right now and have almost no beardgrowth at all (6 hairs and some fluff) i don't worry about it (most people just react with "oh your so goddamn lucky!") in my case it runs in the family, my father didn't start growing a beard until he was 25, and my younger brother also doesn't have beardgrowth.

Lol! Very Funny King_Buzzo_Alike...
I wouldn't worry Stanley, I'm 25 and I only grow a very light beard on my chin and moustache... I grew absolutely nothing beyond fluff until I was 19.
My Brother has had a full beard with Monster sideburns since he was 16. So it doesn't necessarily run in the family.
I very much doubt if masturbating will increase the hair growth... though I'm told it makes you go blind... Thank god I can touch type!

As someone who drags a razor accross his face every day and
has grown a beard on numerous occasions I would say don't
worry about, enjoy it while you can. You aren't missing anything
except the sting of your skin getting irritated, the redness, etc.

The only thing that will make you grow hair there faster is applying rogaine to the area where you want hair to grow. Use the kind that has the most minoxidal (usually 10%). Just apply it to your beard area everyday and in about 6 months you should have a full beard. It can make your skin very irritable and dry. Also it will increase body hair all over. BE CAREFUL because if you get rogaine on your nose or ear or anywhere you will grow hair there.

If your 17 and have no stuble, all i can say is your damn lucky.
In all seriousness, I was about 17-18 before I really started growing something i had to shave regularly, the novelty soon wears off, I tell you that much, most of the lads on here will agree I guarantee that much.

The masturbating reaponse makes me laugh.
Most of the other responses were almost identical with one exception.
Sooooo Aaron, have you tried the Rogaine on your face? Sounds as though you might have. If you have a little brother you could draw designs with it on his back while he's sleeping :)
I've never heard of this (except on the one Simpsons episode long ago). Needless to say, I'm interested from a medical aspect. I would appreciate more info from you.
THANKS

look kid im going to let you in on alittle secret, the same hormone called dihydrotestosterone that causes your hair to thin on the top of your hard is the same hormone that cause you to grow facial hair. So not being able to grow a good beard is a good sign that you have low amounts of the follicle killing hormone in your body. Thank God now that you cant grow a beard. it's sign you probably wont get male pattern baldness later
