Another ponytail gone

Well, another longhair bites the dust. I was home yesterday and flipping around the TV stations when I came upon TLCs Makeover Story. What caught my attention was that the husband (husband & wife were about to undergo makeovers, they were probably in their late twenties or early thirties)had a really beautiful ponytail that was about four inches shy of his waist. Well, you know the rest of the story . . . snip, snip, snip and it's adios great and glorious ponytail.
What was also striking was that before they took him to be scalped, he went shopping for a new set of clothes, a suit and tie and a great pair of leather shoes. Very business-like (a change from his somewhat Goth looking clothes he had been wearing). Well, this guy looked fantastic in several suits he tried on, and his ponytail looked really great against the suit.
I know it was his decision to lose his long hair, but it's still a shame that it's gone. It was very beautiful hair, and it made a gorgeous ponytail.
