Reverse Perm??

A hairdresser told me i could but the stuff that women perm there hair with at home. Though instead i comb it through straight for like 15 minutes or something like that. She said it would make my hair straight for about 6-8 weeks. Seems like a cheap way to get straight hair.
Everytime i ask people mention that japaness thingy but hell i don't have 400 bucks for my hair nor would i spend that much. So i'm looking just for a cheap easy solution to keep it straight.
Does that work?

It doesn't matter if you're trying to make straight hair curly or curly hair straight, putting perm chemicals on your hair at home is a recipe for disaster!
This is something that should only be handled by a professional. You can get your hair chemically straightened at a salon for a lot less than $400, if you skip the Bio Ionic thing. Whatever they charge, it's worth it.

Yes it works, I wrote about that procedure some months ago when this topic was talked about then. It works just as you described. However if you are not versed in such procedures I would have a stylist do it for you as they can monitor the procedure so it is not left on too long or not long enough.

not for me it didnt. i went through 2 of those proceedures, and my hair went right back to curly (i even waited a gross, greasy week the second time before washing it, and it still didnt hold up). but since it's (around 70 bucks for my waist length hair), it's worth a shot. it seems like it could work for anybody, but i'm just puttin up my experience so that if it doesnt, you wont feel alone.
i was sorely dissapointed, and figure my only options are the flattening iron(wich i'm doing now) or the japanese straightening treatment, wich is costly and few places know how to do it.
