Fluffy Problem

Hey,
I've been growing my hair now for almost exactly a year now, and it's down to about chin length. However, I have a problem with it : It's very very fluffy.
I've been told this makes my head look like a pyramid!!! Any help on how to stop or reduce this problem would be greatly appreciated.
If it's any help i shampoo and condition my hair daily.
Thanks in advance

Problem is you shampoo daily. Its not needed and the removal of your natural hair oils will cause it to be fluffy and poofy. I shampoo every Friday but I shower rinse my hair and use Conditioner EVERYDAY. This takes away the greasy look but you still have most of your oils.
Hope this helps.
Exactly, don't SHAMPOO daily (n/t)

Gel got me through the awkward stage. Just make sure that the gel you use does NOT contain any alcohol, as that will dry your hair out.
