Ive begun using a new product that a friend got for me and wondered if anyone else has used anything similar: It is an Ayurvedic Herbal Hair Oil.

Here is a brief background: Ayurveda or the science of life is the oldest medicine system known to man. Ayurveda is a holistic art which embraces a wholesome lifestyle diet and a positive mental attitude. Each individual is a combination of the three constitutions, namely Vata (air & ether), Pitta (fire & water), and Kapha (earth & water). These five elements, which are always present within us, mentally, physically and emotionally, may become imbalanced at times due to stress or seasonal changes or diet. When an imbalance occurs, changes to our physical and emotional self may manifest, possibly affecting our skin and hair. When Vata is imbalanced symptoms such as: anxiety, fear, dryness, poor circulation may be experienced. When Pitta is imbalanced symptoms such as: frustration, anger, burning, redness (rosacea), broken capillaries or psoriasis may be experienced.

This oil says it stimulates hair growth, conditions and retards greying. It contains bramhi oil and bhringaraja oil, both of which I had not previously heard of. Here is a little on what I found out about them:
Bhringaraja oil rejuvenates the hair and prevents early greying and balding due to high pitta and aggravations of the bone tissue.
Brahmi oil is a fantastic application for nervous aggravation, insomnia, disturbed vata, and falling hair (hair loss).

This method of holistic hair care has been in use in India for 5000 or so years, so there must be some benefit...
If anyone knows about it, please let me know.
Thanks.
