Eyelashes rejuvinated

I have given up on my locks nearly ten years ago because it started to gray and long gray hair down to your waste frankly make you look ten years older.
But it did notice my eyelashes are starting to grow again and now they are are just starting to brush on the lenses of my glasses for the first time since I was a teenager when I decided to go without them and let them grow 3/4 of an inch long.
I will just keep my fingers crossed and hope those 50 year old lashes to the same, because I really like outragiously long lashes on anybody. This time they are starting to curl up at the hit my glasses and I do not think this time glasses will be such a problem. But I could not imagine wearing to tight wrap around sun glasses. And besides if you have long lashes they do just an edequate job of keeping out sunglair and they look a lot cooler than sunglasses in my opinion.
Cheers Paul

Hi Paul
Why don't you use an eyelash curler?, then you can wear anything over them.

Why did you cut your hair? If you didn't like the grey, you just could have dyed it.

Long hair of ANY color, including gray, looks fabulous. Especially if it's at mid-back and longer. It adds a bit of self-assuredness also, because you really have to be a strong individual, and know yourself, to be a long haired man. It is quite an attractive feature, no matter what the color.

You are probably right you know to come to think of it. I probably will not grow my hair again down to my waist because it is so curly and too much of a hassel. But I may at some time in the future were it well down past my shoulders and I will not have it tied back in a pony tail.
When I was in my early twenties my hair started to recede a bit and I was terrified I would be bald by the time I turned 30. 30 came and went and there was little change. 40 still no change and now I am 51 it is if anything thicker than it was when I was in my early 20s. So that makes me feel good about any prospect of wearing my hair long again, grey as all it is.
However those chrome dome guys who cling on to what remains of their hair tied back in a pony tail is not a good look. At least I am glad I am not one of those.
The eyelashes I am very happy with and even to bottom ones are coming along nicely. Looks like in spite of the short anagen phase they will hit one inch in length as they are just passing the half inch mark with no sight of old hairs shedding..

Now Paul, this being a supportive place for growing hair long I am a bit surprised to see your remarks here. Of course you can say it is not the look you want but to go so far as to say it is definitively not a good look is not only disheartening to some but also false. As one dear friend wisely said to me once, "It may not be what you would choose but that does not make it a bad choice for another." Your words remind me of those that would say the same about long hair in general. Luckily people here don't listen to them but the words can still hurt.
Balding is nothing to be terrified of. It is an issue I am rather partial to. Perhaps you are right though, skulletons are not good looking but instead can be devistatingly handsome.
