Unexpected compliment

I was sitting in class when a boy named Suvanna came and sat next to me. "Hey man, how long it take you to grow your hair like that?" He wore a big puffy black coat even though it was perfectly warm in the room and had gang tattoos all over his hands.
"I love your hair man! I want my hair just like that man!"
The best compliments come from the most unexpected places. Besides that, I seem to have been getting a lot of compliments lately. Too bad now my hair seems to have stopped growing. :( I would have like waist length at least, which is just about three inches out of reach. Bleh.

Yes. All of a sudden I too am receiving compliments out of the blue. (Could it be that we are all in a "Time Machine" headed back to the 70's for guys and long hair?) Glad you recevied a positive rather than a negative. The tide DOES seem to be turning............faster than I would have believed 1 year ago. Good Luck. :-)

It does reach a point where it seems to be not growing. If you're in a colder climate, it may HAVE stopped growing...for now.
When you look at your hair each and every day, it may appear to be not growing. In colder climates, it grows less in winter.
Lets see what happens in the spring!

It might be best to stop trimming it in order to reach your goal of waist length. Absalom

Sorry for the confusion, I got my wires crossed and mixed information from your post with the post at the start of the thread without thinking. I totally messed up by associating trimming hair with the guy at the top of the thread who is trying to reach waist length. Again, sorry for the confusion. Absalom

Yes, I do live in a colder climate. But...only two inches since June, so it hasn't just been since the beginning of winter. I can still hope though. :)
Thanks!

Yeah - I've been getting alot of hair compliments lately too. Its really uplifting.
The best came from a female friend who actually told me she was proud of me for "sticking with it" (growing my hair) for so long and she said she hoped I continued to grow it!
Wow! If this kinda stuff doesn't spur you on I dunno what will!
