I've ben growing my hair for a couple of years now, but i just recently noticed a problem. A few peices of my hair most noticable my bangs, are really short, almost as if they broke off or were cut. It looks really band when my hair is in a ponytail because these hairs are always sticking out. I grew all my hair the same legnth, so I don't know what happened. Should I cut the hairs, leave them alone, or the most dreadful thought, shave my head and start over?! Help!
STOP

Don't worry man. Not all your hairs are the same length, and they never will be. Hairs fall out and those hairs are simply at the beginning of their life cycle. I also noticed that when I had short hair there were a few short little hairs in front anyway. I find they stay unnoticable if I wet them and push them back. If they really bother you, you could gel them back. Either way it's no big deal.

Thanks Man. What a relief! I was scared to death I'd have to start over, and I hate having short hair! You saved my hair man, Thank You!

I would at least have your bangs looked at to see if they have split ends. From my understanding, the bangs are the most abused hairs on one's head. The reason is because these are the hairs one would constantly fuddle with throughout the day, by moving them out of your face, pulling them back behind the ears and ponytailing, etc..
If these hairs do have split ends, then trimming off the split ends would help them to grow, otherwise they may never grow any longer than they are now.

Why would shaving your head come into this as a possible solution?
