Hi, my hair is maybe 6 inches long and extremely thin and straight. I have to blow dry it every time i get it wet to prevent it from frizzing out. Are there anyways to make my hair thicker and maybe a little more wavy? thanks. email me with suggestions

After you wash your hair, towel dry it just a little bit. Next, take your hands and "scrunch" it. This is hard to explain, but I'll try. It's like taking palm-fulls of your and bending it. Do this all over your hair, and you could help the wave stay better if you take one hand and blow dry your hair on "Low" while srunching your hair.
As far as the frizz goes, I don't know what to tell you there. My hair is pretty long compared to what it used to be, and I still get frizz a lot if I try to make it more curly or something.

My hair is fine and mostly straight, and when it was your length it wanted to be a mess of flyaways and frizz. Infusium 23 leave-in treatment for fine, limp hair helped this problem for me. Also, you can try using a few drops of olive oil and a boar bristle brush. The oil helps out with tangles (if that's a problem for you.)
I can make my hair wavy until the next wash by putting it in a braid for awhile, but of course you'll have to wait until your hair is longer to be able to do that.

The first thing to look into is are you taking medication
that make your hair thin? Some medication (especially
Thyroid medication can have that effect).
If that is the case then the first thing to do is talk to
your doctor about alternatives if any exist.

My Reply
My hair started to thin in my early twenties and I was sure I would be bald by the time I turned 30. So I tried the wear it long while I could before it did.
My hair appears thick, perhaps it is rather dry an curly giving the illusion of thick hair when it is really only average. So I had good reason to be concerned.
I came up with the idea that gently tugging the hair like when you gently tug the hairs on you arm you see little goose bumps raise up as you pull it even if you feel no pain. I felt that just gently gripping some hair near the roots and gently tugging them with a series of short sharp tugs below the pain threshold would strengthen them.
And you know, I think it has worked. 30 passed and it did not go bald. 40 still not bald and now I am over 50 it is if anything thicker than it was when I was 23, and in that time I have worn it as long as 80 cm without a problem
