Odd parting hair!

Hello all!
Don't post much here but I'm always looking.
I'm into month 5 of my hair growing experiment and I've been parting my hair in the middle for a while now. What I have been noticing is that the direction of the hair when parted points forward. It sort of gives a chevron or sargent stripe look to my hair if you get what I mean.
Does/did anyone elses hair do this? Is there any way I can keep it back?

I dunno if you already do this but I'd suggest you comb your hair back whilst wet, when its 80% dry make you part and then let it dry the rest of the way.
This normally helps keep the part and train the hair.

Your hair has it's own personality and due to the way it grows out of your scalp you may not be able to wear it in a style that you like on other people. That may not be a problem though as you own style just might look better anyway.
Many hairdressers say to just brush it back and let it fall where it wants to instead of trying to get that perfect part. Play with it, let it do what it wants, you'll get the feel of it as time goes by.
