What you say sounds good but I've always been sceptical of these straightening balms...never tried them. I ask myself:
1) Do they work in all cases?
2) HOW do they work? (I have no concept)
3) Do they damage the hair?
Anyway, glad it's worked for you.
Cheers, Armin

It contains silicones. They coat the hair.
Eventually you will develop silicone build-up, and the product will not work as well. Also, since it coats the hairshaft, it will not allow moisture to get to the hair.
Most women with long hair stay away from any products with "cones". They will eventually dry out your hair.

I've tried it. My hair is far too frizzy all the way through for this to work for me I think but I've heard it works wonders for your regular frizz. :)
