Yeah, when it needs it. A few weeks ago I had about 2 1/2 inches off the back because it looked ridiculously long compared to my fringe. Now it's fairly even, but I notice it's not exactly how I want it. Of course, I might just cut my hair short since I don't care now.

Once I got past thinking "man, and I thought *I* had a hairy back!" ...
I used to do that when I had longer hair in college, but haven't done that kind of trimming lately - sticking to my guns so far to cut no hair until August (the one-year rule.)

Why do people have to be so drastic in chopping so much off, you don't need to. I'm sure other people will agree. So that's 6-8 months hair that has to grow again.

: I trimmed about 3 - 4 inches off my back hair last night. I did this so that when it gets as long as it was again, the bangs will fit into the tie and my neck hair will have grown back more. Do any of you guys get trims or trim your own hair?
