I'm 13 years old and my hair in the front is halfway past my eyes and my hair in on the side is a 1/2 inch past my ear. I don't have curly hair but it makes the shape of a "C" at my ears, forehead, and bottom of my neck. I want it completely srtaight and i want your recommendation on what to do. Should i use a hair straightener or will it natural fall straight since I'm not legally a "long-hair" yet.

This kind of ties in with the post I just made. My hair has gotten substantially long bangs go past chin by a few inches and my hair is like 14 inches long. And I still have that C like curl on my bangs it wont go away ug.

how many inches of hair does one need to be called a long hair?
i'm thinking of growing mine up to chin length, but after what i read about hair curling in the ends, i also want to know how many inches of hair will it take for that curl to disappear?
and does trimming the end of the curls help? trim the very ends off, about .5 inches or less, then let it grow out?
