Terminal Life Query

I have 1cm trims every 3 months, my length goal is upper stomach, lower chest. If I stopped having trims all together, would my hair still grow at its average rate (currently just below chin/resting on sholders), or would I have to wait for it to catch up with its terminal life, then for it to start growing again?
This is actually starting to worry me.
I hope I wored that right.

YES, if you stop getting trims, your hair
SHOULD grow at its current rate. And why not! (if you are healthy).
IF you could see some of your ancestors (at THEIR terminal length) you would
probably have a pretty good idea of just how long YOUR hair would end up growing.
TRY not worrying so much about your terminal length for now.
Just let it grow and see how far it will grow.
If you want a basic idea of how far it will be in about 1 year,
just add six inches to what you have now. Or add
half an inch for every month.
Best wishes & good luck!
