Bonjour!!!

I was recently told of this excellent message board, and have read many of the interesting, useful and thought provoking messages left by people who understand the importance of having a good head of hair.
My problem is that my hair has always been known for its dark flowing locks, but in recent years It has begun to grey. I have tried hair colourings but I find that these leave my hair in a dry condition, and would like advice from anyone who has experienced a similar problem. I want to restore my hair to its previous youthful appearance and Im willing to spend the time and money to achieve this because I believe Im worth it.
Merci.

It would be best to consult a professional stylist at a good salon about hair coloring. If done properly it works well and even feels like it was conditioned afterwards.

I get the same problem.
My advice would be to use non-ammonium based colorants like L`Oreal`s casting. Or maybe you could try Henna, but it wont give you dark results but rather red tones.
Alternatively you could let your hair get grey and it`ll give you a mature look. or maybe a more calm/wise look
