Continuation from 60 year old long haired guy:
On March 10th I posted a message about my experiences with maint. trims.
I am including the two photos I promised, about six months apart, showing the results. I prefer to keep the ends neat and like how it feels on my back. Just my hang up I guess.
The first photo was taken on Sept. 1, 2003:

The second photo was taken on March 10, 2004 after a trim of about 1/2 to 3/4 inches:

You will notice that, although the length is about 3/4" greater, the ends are a little thinner. This is because the stylist got heavy handed during the detangling process and caused breakage at the ends (mostly on the right side) before I could stop her. I'll never go back there again! Just a reinforcement for being careful with wet hair. Go SLOW and gentle!!!
The damage will eventually even up within the next six to eight months with several more trims.
BTW; thanks to Treyn for help in posting these photos!!

Incredible hair!!
Two questions:
1) Do you color your hair? If so, it appears very natural. From behind, you could pass for 30.
2) Do you have any front shots?
Nice Length!...

Was that 'stylist' nuts or something???
Where did she go for her schooling, anyway. Maybe you should
report her before she causes more trouble!
Anyway, the photos show quite a difference in length in such a relatively
short period of time. A good golden color too!
Congratulations!
