i just recently removed braids from my hair...and the beeswax used is still all gunked up in my hair...it feels really oily and disgusting and has not come off for 3 days so far...how long is this supposed to last? Is there a quick way to remove this?

Try peanut butter...it works for gum, so it might work for beeswax

I would think that this is one time that heat would be good.
I would comb my hair out very well, soak it in warm/hot water (or take a hot shower) and use a comb at the same time, combing well. This may remove the majority of it.
Warmth will loosen it, comb ... and time ... will remove it.
Perhaps combing while shampoo is on your hair?
