10 months On...

its been 10 long months, and i have one annoying thing to mention. My hair in only 4 inches long. It seem to be growing at a much slower rate than the usual 0.5 inch/month.
Did any of you have this problem?
Also another thing is my hair seem to fall out a little more than i accpected. I understand that hair does naturally fall out, but if my hair as naturally dry and a ruffle is about a bit at least 2 or 3 hair fall out.
If this continues over the weeks and months wont the thickness of my hair eventually diminish?

I didn't have that slow of growth I was average. But I did and still do have the massive hair loss. Even when its dry i shake and hair comes out. It hasnt effected me at all so it should be fine.

No I'm at 13 months and I've grown 7 inches (inspite of trims) over that time, my hair is now 8.5 inches long. So I'm enjoying slightly faster than average growing speeds.
Generally most people can improve their growth rate by improving their diet and taking more exercise. Just makesure you have a balanced diet, maybe take a multi-vitamin if your a little run down. And get regular exercise, you should be able to increase your hair growth rate by 10-20%. Which would get you upto the average of 1/2 inch a month.

That doesn't sound excessive, most people can loose over 100 hairs a day and still not experience any thinning. Remember that new hairs are growing through all the time and replace the ones that fall out.
If your hair is dry you might want to try a moisturing shampoo & conditioner, this could help prevent any breakage of your hair. But thats another story.
