Rinsing is getting hard!

Hi all, I have a new very frustrating problem, and am not sure what to do about it.
I find that conditioners are hard to rinse out of my hair. Like, it takes me several minutes of constant pressure from the shower, along with scrubbing, to finally be able to rinse it out thoroughly. It's just very frustrating because I don't particularly like having to sit there scrubbing under the shower head for 3 or 4 minutes.
Could this be because of my conditioner(Aussie Moist)? Or could it be that my hair is just too thick(which it is, very). Like, for you thin haired people, do you have this problem? And for you thick haired people, is it the same for you too?

One more thing I should note...
Is it really necessary to wash conditioner out of your hair so much? Like I always feel like it's in my hair and I rinse it out until I feel it is COMPLETELY gone, but perhaps having some in there wouldn't be so bad?

Hey. I've got very thick hair and it takes me *ages* to rinse out shampoo/conditioner. If I don't spend a good 5 mins, and keep it short to 1-2 mins, i find that over the next few days my hair looks extremely greasy(compared to normal) and feels horrible. I think it's worth putting up with the extra time, and just washing your hair every 3-4 days. At least you know your hair has been given a good wash if you've spend a long time rinsing it, although it is annoying to spend so long in the shower.

Well my hair is VERY coarse, and medium thickness, and I find it hard to APPLY both shampoo and conditioner after I wet my hair, because it all sticks together and doesnt separate easily.
But, sometimes after I get out of the shower, I notices theres still white patches of conditioner still on my scalp and I have to rinse my hair again! I'd say it is something to do with the thickness. :(

I also have this problem. I believe that it is due to the close proximity of the folicles and the increasing length of our hair.

Just speaking for myself:
When I "go at it" until I no longer feel any Conditioner in my hair, upon drying a disaster awaits! (Hair much too dry and very brittle.) So, I leave the Conditioner (Aussie) on for about 15 minutes and then wash what I can out, but still feel the "smooth-feeling" that is NOT felt if all the conditioner has been stripped-off. At my length now of 12" I only Shampoo and Condition once a week. (Once in a while during the week I will "wash" with water ONLY.) Sometimes I skip a week of any Shampoo and simply wash and use Conditioner. It is the Shampoo that really is doing the number on your hair of stripping away all too much, (my opinion) and the Conditioner rather thought of as a temporary "Bandade" until your natural oils make it back to where they do the best job of all. Perhaps give the "Conditioner-thing" a try and see what you think. Good Luck.

No, but I use a lighter, 'volume' type conditioner rather than the somewhat thicker 'moisturizing' stuff. The moisturiizng conditioner weigh down my hair.
(I'm also giving the conditioner only wash a try for a few weeks, trying to reduce shampoo frequency.)

I have very thick hair and find that rinsing out a conditioner (I use ViVE Smooth-Intense)
should not take longer than 2 minutes.
A good way to help move the conditioner out of your hair is to
use your fingers like giant combs in a downward motion as the
water washes over the length of your hair.
Scrubbing is probably never a good idea when using any product.

I like washing and conditioning with my head upside down (bent over). I don't like wet hair on my back.
Anyway start applying conditioner heavier at the ends first and more lightly on up to the scalp.
During conditioning time I just pile my hair on my head for a few minutes then bend over again to rinse it out.
I find rinsing upside down more thorough and I'm not covered with hairs that fall out during the rinse.
