Hi all, I think tomorrow I'm going to get a new shampoo and conditioner- from the Neutrogena Triple Moisture line. It is sold in some drug stores but I believe it is of salon quality.
Anyway, can anyone tell me if these ingredients look alright? Or if I should even trust looking at the ingredients when deciding on what to use.

Well i'd be a bit wary of the sodium trideceth sulphate, this is the foaming agent but I dont know how it compares to the most 'gentle' one found in most shamps - sodium laureth sulphate. Maybe check on the net for this.....Sodium Lauroamphoacetate is found in alot of cosmetic products aswell as poo' so I guess thats fine. Oo just seen sts on the web an its in a baby shampoo so it must be as gentle as sls. The rest seem ok, the cond i'm not sure about - lots of 'cones but thats expected and others ive never heard of sorry...give it a go and see what its like in few weeks...

So during your response, half way through you found out that Sodium Trideceth Sulfate is actually ok? Just to be sure I understood what you put. So it seems like the shampoo should be ok...
Do most of the cones in the conditioner seem like a bad thing?

Yeah its fine....decided to check on the web myself its in alot of cosmetic products...but then again so it sodium lauryl sulphate which is the damaging cousin of sodium laureth sulphate...I guess you'll just have to see how it goes : ) As for the cond its pretty standard for most of them to be packed with cones, this is fine as long as a clarifier is used say weekly to remove them or you may notice you hair starts to get dry....
