Do you know if your parents object because your hair just looks messy in the growing stage (it will), or do they object to long hair in general?
I'll assume that the latter is the case so you may want to try talking to them and explain how much long hair means to you and that you will grow it anyway regardless of whether you start now or at 18. They can't really stop you from growing it but it may be wise to try talking about it first so that grudges don't build up between you and your parents (sounds like that may already be the case).
So, my advice is: try explaining it to them reasonably, and talk about whatever issues they may have with your hair. If that doesn't work, grow it anyway!
Good luck

no, they dont care if i grow it out but the want me to keep it looking neat and get trims. (thats how my dad did it when he was a teenager) Most of u will say that i should just get trims and grow it out but i dont want it to take forever. I want to grow it out and be done with it. I am really starting to get tired of the same hair lenght for 2 years.

Well, your still better off triming it then cutting it all off and giving up.

I understand your frustration. Hair looks messy when you're growing it out, and that can be a problem with parents. You could try explaining to them that it is better to be growing it out when you're still in school than it would be when you were looking for a job, for example. Let them know that it will look tidier when you have finished growing it out (just don't get into too much detail about how long you want it or how long that will take!).
Even if they accept that, you will probably still be pressured into getting a trim for special occasions (you know, like when you have to go to your cousin's wedding, and that sort of thing). Just be prepared for that.
You'll have to work hard at making sure the stylist doesn't cut too much off, as you won't be able to keep out of the hair salon entirely. It's always a good idea to go somewhere that cuts hair for both sexes, not just guys. Also, make sure you don't go anywhere that the rest of your family have their hair cut, and double sure that they don't go with you (OK, you're too young to drive, but make sure they drop you off and don't stay). That way, the only instructions on how your hair is cut will come from you. It only takes a few seconds for your mother to say "make sure you take enough off", or some other damaging statement. I'm a middle aged married guy, but I remember it well!

Well, then it's easy. Just use gel, hats, bandannas etc to keep your hair neat Don't trim for one year then see how the ends look. If they need a trim, don't get more than 1 inch cut off. Then grow another year and repeat the process and take it from there.
Well,

They need to define what they mean by neat. They should buy you the products that it takes to give you a neat appearance by their standards. If it takes gel, mousse, hair spray (I recommend Aussie's "sprunch spray" ... smells great!) then so be it.
You should not have to cut your hair against your wishes just to "look neat." I've seen many men with long hair who look neat.

Having trims wont make it take "forever" - I've had 4 trims in the past 14 months and grown over 7 inches of hair. Why? Cos I only trimmed to shape, not to remove length.
Provided you tell the stylist to leave the top layers alone then you'll continue to grow the hair where it counts, and only have the back n sides trimmed.

Be extra nice to your parents. Help them out. Get good grades. Be a gentleman. Maybe they will forget about nick picking you about your hair.
Be a good boy and appreciate your parents! =)
