I just have a short question. I hear people talk about having a "bob" or i dont want to get my hair trimed casue i will get a "bob".
What exactly is a "bob"? and could someone give me a pic of it cause my hair now is about 11in bangs and maybe 2 in longer in the back and i was gona get my split ends trimed and alittle off the back to make is grwo better and look neater and i wanted to know if this would make me have a "bob" like having 11-12in hair evenly all around?
Thanks

A bob is when you have your hair the same length all around. But I think most of the time when people talk about bobs, they are talking about bobs with fairly short hair. The woman on the right at http://www.hair-styles.org/fs33.html has a chin-length bob. I think you could say that Kurt Cobain had a long-hair bob. When the hair is longer, it's not so obvious it's all one length, and it doesn't have the same "geometric" look. I don't think you have to be concerned with what people say about bobs when getting hair like yours evened up, especially when its long enough to push back behind your ears instead of wearing it like in the picture.
