This project is distinguished by its module to form reports with the help of OLE-Automation for MS Word using MS VC++ 6.0 as well as by its remote client mode based on ASP, HTML, and ISAPI.

The marketing net for Trade Company was created as a client server application with using Internet technology. Front end was implemented ActiveX elements for IE using Visual C++ 6.0 and ATL 3.0. Those elements reflected various aspects of activity of the company (financial activity, distribution of products, competition among various products, rates and taxes, etc.). Back end was designed using IIS, ASP, InterDev, DCOM, and Access. Access to database is being accomplished via DCOM – servers with using OLE DB. Information about license access to system was included in inquiry protocol from client part. String of incoming inquiry protocol from client part is being processed by server part (ASP), invoking dynamic generation of information loading of client part from database. All requests among servers and controls are transferred as character data formatted into custom protocol strings. This approach allows for flexibility to use this protocol over various networking implementations such as DCOM or TCP/IP and UDP Sockets. This can provide an alternative method of communication for servers and clients in the environment where networking is implemented using different platforms such as UNIX, OS/2 or Windows NT TCP/IP networking. Database server represents any ODBC level 2 or higher compliant database. The access method is SQL. The most common database configuration can include: Access, SQL Server, Informix and ORACLE.

Development of client-server applications for different banking transactions using VBA, Visual Basic 6.0. The basic parameters of the client side are the speed of data exchange with the server side, resources required to implement the client part, transaction mechanisms, related to transactions with the server part. Logical administration to the functions implemented on the level of access rights, access administration to the server part.
