I am currently looking for a position to best utilize my extensive UNIX and Pick-like database skills. I have over 23 years of experience with various implementations of the "Pick" operating system. For the last 6 years, I have held the position of Information Services Director for a large international publishing company. My position has been a mixture of managerial as well as technical responsibilities utilizing the IBM UniVerse database on IBM AIX. I have supervised teams of senior system analysts and programmers, system administrators as well as operations staff. In addition to my managerial and technical experience and responsibilities, I also have extensive experience in telecommunications (PBX/ACD/Voice Mail/Call Accounting) administration and management. Along with UniVerse, I have extensive experience with AIX/UNIX/Linux and have automated many routine tasks with either Korn or BASH scripts.
