Jai Taurima

Did anyone else catch Australia's Jai Taurima winning the silver medal in the long jump, aired on NBC Thursday Night (9/28/00)? Just before the event, he was seen as tying his thick black hair back in a approximately 6-inch ponytail. But when he did the jump, he wore it loose! The sight of it swaying left and right in the breeze has to be one of the greatest mens long hair action shots I've seen.

but his hair length is now *much* more than in the picture there.
It certainly stands out in contrast with most of the other athlete's who affect the current norm of grown men wearing children's haircuts.
