Hey, Victor

On Friday I posted a reply to Scott's post about long hair and receding hairlines. Since my hairline, too, is receding and since I've long considered growing my hair out (but haven't done so because of the hairline), I thought my reply to that effect couldn't have been more germaine. But obviously you didn't, because you didn't post it.
Mind emailing me with an explanation? I'm mildly annoyed at this amount of editing, but since I know you to be more than fairminded and reasonable, I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Your message has been posted. I just made a reply to it a minute ago. :-)
Unfortunately, the harassment that longhairs face in life sometimes lands here on this board, so the system sometimes holds messages. Though this can be an inconvenience, many of us feel it is worth it, because it makes this a much more civil place. If an okay message is held, Victor or one of his assistants will usually see it within a few hours but it might be longer ... hey, man, it's the weekend! :-)

I saw the screening notice as soon as I replied to scott's post. But when I checked back later and didn't see my post but saw others posted later than mine, I wondered whether I'd been edited. No big deal.

I got a screening notice when I posted ANOTHER post after that post, and that didn't show up, either!

If you have problems like this, please email me in the future. If I happen not to be reading this board, I'll miss your complaint. However, I always check my email.

I guess that's why some repost again and again, but each time they get the screening notice.
By the way, messages that are screened by WebMaster Victor still have the Y2K bug (e.g. 19101) and don't have the Previous and Next links. Perhaps, Victor should fixed those on the SCREENED messages as well?
