Help w/ "Hell Phase"!!!
Posted by Jeffrey Alan Wright on November 29, 2000 at 02:42:22: Previous Next
Hi.
I am in my fifth month of hair growth and my hair is slowly but surely getting more wavy and thick, not to mention the unsightly frizz.
I need some help in what to do after i get out of the shower.
I work in a stock room so i can't wear a hat, and my hair looks awful.
I don't want to cut it, but my esteem is going downhill.
Right now, my method is to put gel in my hair, comb it and then put a hat on to wear while my 15 minute drive to work.
The result of this is damp and thick, frizzy hair.
I need help.
Thank You.
J. Wright.

Yeah, I'm in the fourth month and I'm going through the same thing too except I have straight baby-fine hair. I hate it. Can't do anything with it. I've been using gel to keep it in place. If I don't, as soon as I step outside with a gust of wind, forget it! I've tried several times in the past to grow long hair and really want it, but have never made it past this stage. Plus, this time I'm dealing with a conservative employer. So we'll see how far I get. Heh.

Jeffery, I'm about 5 month's in to growing my curly/wavy thick hair out...I've found that if I use a generous amount of gel in it and ONLY run my hands thru it to style it...It's not as frizzy or puffy like a brush/comb tends to do to thick/wavy hair...Also, try washing your hair Every Other day and use a good quality Conditioner on it...Well, give it a try!!! Good luck...
