So far I have been growing my hair without a single haircut since July of 1999 and still had my hair longer than normal. It is now just about bid back. but seems body and a few strands fall out each time. any clue how to prevent this?
What kind of brush are you using?

WHAT KIND OF BRUSH ARE YOU USING SCOTT? IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BORES BRISTLE BRUSH GET ONE OR GET SOMETHING THAT COMES CLOSE. ALSO BE SURE TO BRUSH YOUR HAIR STARTING FROM THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD AND WORK YOUR WAY TO THE FRONT. BRUSH YOUR HAIR ONLY WHEN DRY TOO.

Also, if you don't mind a women answering as well, with really long hair always start brushing from the bottom and slowly make your way up. The split ends always tangle and if you start from the top, you will have a big mess at the bottom.
