Odd feelings

I've notieced that since I've choosen to grow my hair out, I already feel as if I have long hair sometimes. I mean, it's still fairly short, but beginning to have enough length to blow in the wind, and to feel full at the base of my neck. When the wind blows, I get a very clear sense of having truly long hair. Anybody else have this happen?

Yep, I know exactly what you mean. My last haircut was in early June, and my hair is just past my ears, and barely touching my back. I love to shake my hair so I can feel my hair move, and when I walk, I can feel it move in the wind. But when I look closely at myself in the mirror, I realize just how longer I have to go. If I can just keep putting up with all the family comments....."you need a haircut, you look like a girl" Heck, I'm 40 years old and it still happens. Thankfully I run my own business and I don't have to put up with bosses!!

My hair is only 10cm long at this time and I too can already tell the difference from when it was around 4 cm. I hope to grow it out to shoulder length and am already addicted to the feel of the wind blowing it all around. Thank heavens I live in Chicago... lots and lots of wind. :)
