is it possible that because we generally sleep on one side of our head, that there is less hair there???
And is it normal to have an asymetric hair line or density?
It seems i have slightly denser hair on my right then on my left...
Could this be hair loss???
Or my imagination(i am 19)?

My hair is a bit asymmetrical as you can see at the link below. But I sleep much more on the side that is longer and fuller. You'll notice my hair line is also not the same on both sides.
One reason the right side may be less full is that it is the side that tickles my partner's face at night and recently I found he was clawing at it in his sleep when that happened. But it may also just be less full by its nature. I suspect what is going on is a little of both.
As for the clawing behavior, a pair of pony ties put a stop to it. I put one in the usual spot and one four inches down my tail. That's enough to get the free hair away from our heads. I don't like the look of a ponytail on me so one never sees me with one in public. But I go for one at night because it protects my hair and may assure longer growth. :-)

Check out your local beauty supply store. You should be able to buy a satin pillow case there. They aren't expensive. That way your hair will slide over the pillow case easily while you sleep. You won't have to worry about hair loss from sleeping on that side.
