Suggestions/comments on my hair

Guys,
Here is the latest photo of my hair. Made it through that awful undercut photo I posted a while ago, along with the help of my male stylist who understands that I want it long.
Guess I am wondering how long is too long. I want to grow it to my butt, but would it look good on me? But then again, why should I care how it looks with my features as long as I like it, and it's what I want to do.
Any thoughts?

Hey Mark.......it looks like your hair is coming along quite nicely. It's just at an awkward length at the moment. Let it grow another few inches at least and you'll be able to see more stylable results.
You're already past the maddening stage so don't give it up.
Two suggestions I have but these are what I would do for myself.
...get rid of the facial hair and keep a clean cut face except for a neatly kept full moustache. You have a face that can go without one though if you choose.
...try parting your hair at the side rather than the middle. You'll find that your hair will look dramatically fuller.
Post another pic in a few months and let us see how you're doing.

Yeah, another mark! Anyway, your hair looks great, very healthy! I'd say keep it growing, you have the type of hair that looks really good when very long and it looks like you take really good care of it.

Keep the facial hair if you want, but keep it neat. Personally I think a moustache sets off a long hair'd guy and signals that he is a guy, regardless of how the hair is done.
I have a beard and moustache. I part my hair on the left,m but comb it back so that it comes together at the crowm. I use a 2.5 inch clasp I think made by Goddy with horn rim. I put it on my hair as though I were going to wear a pony tale, but I put the working side out, and the hornrim side in. Then I fold this up, and hold it into place with two Goddy horn rim bobby pins, just above the clasp and out of signt, and then the ??pony Tail?? falls over bobby pins and clasp. This gives the illusion that my hair is shorter than it is, and looks very professional.
