solutions for straightening hair?

my hair is a little wavy with annoying curls on the ends. can anyone recommend a good hair straightening solution?

I have no idea if this stuff is any good:

(If I were to grow a ponytail, I'd want it to be straight)

You could consider buying a straightening iron.... ya know, like a curling iron but to make hair straight. It's best to use it after your hair is already at a certain length so you don't burn yourself.
