Long straight hair/Long curly hair.

Hey guys,
I want to know different opinions on a man with long STRAIGHT hair and another man with long CURLY hair. My question is what are the advantages/disadvantages on both? Any opinions are highly appreciated.
P.S.
I happen to be Filipino and I have VERY straight hair so even if I tried I couldn't make my hair curly. I have decided to take the plunge and grow it out long! I have always cut it short at previous attempts in the annoying stage, but now, i'm just about getting over the annoying stage and there is no turning back...

I've got the curly hair. If I pull down on it, it comes to within six inches of my belt, but it springs up as soon as I let go. It mostly hangs out around my shoulderblades. :-)
I've discussed some of the advantages and disadvantages of each under the paragraphs "Two Kinds of Hair - Straight and Curly" in part 2 of the FAQ "On Being a Longhair", so I won't rehash them here.
The most important thing, though, is to accept and celebrate the hair you have. All long hair is cool, and that we get is a unique gift. Any time we try to change it, we inevitably end up damaging it to some degree, and we never end up with hair looking as cool as those who we "idolized" that got the genetics for the hair that we thought we wanted.
You will look great with your very straight long hair! "Very straight" hair is that that will grow the longest, so let it grow to the floor! :-)

My hair is curly, which can sometimes be a pain as it gets knotty very easily and sometimes takes on weird shapes. I think that straight hair would be much easier to take care of.
