Captain America Hairstyle

Hi,
I recently noticed that when I put my hair back in a pony tail I have these little tufts of short hair that stick out of the sides of my head.
They look like feathers on Captain Americas head.
Is this a common problem? Is it caused by hair breaking?
And will I always have it?
thanks
Forsen

Yes, this is a common problem in guys who decide they want to grow their hair long. Lots of hair cutters will try to "tidy it up" by cutting off those "feathers," which just means it will do the same thing in a few weeks. The only solution is to grit your teeth and LET IT GROW. If you go to a stylist, you need to tell him/her very clearly that you need to grow out your hair on the sides, and not just in back (unless you want the "M" word style). Good luck.
. . . JP in san diego.
p.s. Speaking of those "feathers," it could be worse. Did anyone see Paulie Walnuts silver wings on the Sopranos when he spent that night at Pine Barrens with Christopher Moltisante?
