Cry for help

I've been growing my hair for what seems like forever, and my fringe is just past my mouth now. The problem is my hair is quite thick, and not completely even in length (due to the forced haircut incident of September 2000). It's always frizzy, sticks out and curls at the back, and only looks half decent in a severe right shed.
Any help at all would be great (any way to straighten it?) and thanks in advance.

Your hair sounds like mine. ;-)
I would use a light hair wax (VO5 works great for me) to weight it
down a bit. It also reduces frizz for me... -Oct4n3
