Hey guys,
How long does it take for someone with average straight-hair growth to grow their hair shoulder length from a buzz cut?
2 years? more?
THANKS

Let's see … the average height of a head is about 9" + another 3" to get to the shoulders. I would say that's about 12". If everyone says that you need 2 months to grow an inch of hair, then you probably need 2 years to grow a foot of hair. Yea … that's about right!

With a foot of hair, I'd have to get new shoes . . .

Has anyone used Grecian Plus Gray Control Foam?
Does it work?
Is it hard on the hair?
Any other comments?
Here is what it says on the package.....
"Grecian Plus - a major advance in gradual haircoloring. You get rid of gray gradually... naturally."
"Total treatment for gray, thinning hair:
Penetrates the hair gradually restoring natural-looking color.
Expands hair diameter up to 10%, builds healthier, thicker-looking hair.
Repairs damaged hair, reduces hair loss from breakage.
Grecian Plus Gray Control Foam works the way nature does, one day at a time, gradually restoring true color. And, it gives you extra conditioning benefits, plus convenience and control no other gradual haircoloring offers. Grecian Plus works with nature to get rid of as much gray - or as little - as you want. All it takes is a few effortless seconds a day to look and feel like yourself again. That's what Grecian has done to satisfy millions of men. And that's what Grecian Plus can do for you."
"What Causes Gray Hair?
Hair is made of protein containing a natural coloring substance called melanin. Dark brown or black hair simply has more melanin than light brown of blond hair. In time, as melanin decreases, gray hair forms. Most people get a few scattered gray hairs first. Then gray becomes more predominant, particularly at sideburns or temples. When there's no melanin, hair becomes white."
"How Grecian Plus "Reverses" the Graying Process?
Grecian Plus Foam combines with your hair's natural protein to gradually add melanin-like pigment back into your hair. With each daily application, your hair becomes darker - gradually - until you regain the natural-looking color you desire."
"Directions:
Before first use: shampoo, rinse and thoroughly dry hair.
Shake well before each use.
Hold can upright and press button gently to dispense foam about the size of a "golf ball" into palm.
Disperse foam evenly through dry hair. You may need 2 to 3 "golf balls" to cover gray completely. Hair should feel slightly damp.
Comb hair as usual (do not rinse). Wash hands thoroughly. Dry hair, if desired.
Apply daily until desired shade is reached. Thereafter, once or twice a week will maintain your natural look."
"Ingredients:
Water, Propylene Glycol, Isobutane/Propane, SD Alcohol 40, Panthenol, Sulfur, Octoxynol-9, Lead Acetate, Polysorbate 80, Cetyl Acetate, Acetylated Lanolin Alcohol, Fragrance, Acetic Acid."

Hair normally grows about 6 inches per year. So you will need about 2 years for buzzed hair to reach shoulder length.
