Did I mess up?

Ii've had my hair parted on the middle/right side for about 7 yrs now and the part runs to the top of the bacl of my head round the crown.well ive noticed some thinnnig tehre..like i tried to comb some of the hair back..over where i had the part going...cuz i have a calick back there and it doesnt part /lay down on the crown flat and the hair looked thin and it didnt cover my crown area totally...have i caused it to thin? i turn 21 on wed...can i do anything about this to stop further thinning and eventaul balding back there?

See your docter,ask him if you can see a dermatologist to confirm the balding and he'll give you advice on what products to use.

well i have seen a doc bout it..and this was bout last yr and he said tehre was a lil thinnin on the crown area..then..its bout the same now as it was then i just never paid any attenion to it since it was in the back of my head...one time i asked my barbber bout it and she said it was cuz of how i part my hair..so i dont know what to do..iof i should go to anohter doc or what

Well you said its been like that for a year? maybe ur barber might be right but personally i'd make sure u see another docter and see what he has to say.
There are some drugs on the market for hairloss but make sure u ask ur docter to refer you to a dermatologist if ya are getting worried bout it, good luck and take care.
