Victor,
I want to say "thanks" for this site, and I have a question for you. How long is your current hair length?
Sincerely,
Darrin

Using the GM method of measuring (starting from the front hairline), it is about 45 inches.

Alright, let me answer on BM's (Boardmaster's) behalf.
"GM" is short for "George Michael". Not that GM singer, mind you, he is the famous hairdresser in California (correct me if I'm wrong) who specialises in care for long hair. He had many famous clients one of whom is Crystal Gayle. Incidentally, he is the one who standardised the method of hair measurement.
The GM's method is to place the "zero point" of the measuring tape at the hairline, right in the middle of your temple, then let the rest fall behind your back. Feel the point where the ends of your hair that meets with the tape, place your finger (fingernails) at that point and pull over for a quick reading. Of course, it'll be much more easier if someone takes it for you :)
