What do barbers say?

A number of posts suggested that barbers tell customers they need to cut their long hair. Barbers may really believe that or maybe are they are trying to seek money in cutting hair. Are barbers willing to consider opportunities in hair braiding and beard styling?
I think telling a customer who wants long hair to cut his hair will result in the customer leaving and never coming back. Barbers need to learn braiding and beard styling. When customers decide to grow long hair or grow a long beard, a long hair friendly barber can offer ideas and services people with long hair and beards are very interested in.

Barbers and hair stylists have one purpose in life...to make money
by cutting hair. When I started having long hair back in the 60s
barbers were complianing about not making money because hair was long.
I consider Barbars to be slime. It is my hair but they ulitmately
do what they want. You tell them exactly what you want and they
do what they want anyways.
If you get the impression I don't like Barbers and sytlists, you
are right. I've been screwed by them too many times.

Or just find a barber with long hair like mine-the irony is I'm not growing long hair at the moment.....
