Having just found the site I must say what a refreshing board it is. As a 30 someting I have had mid-back hair most of my life all one length. For the past few years I have worn it in a high pony tail and I guess very few people have seen it down. I get a trim every few months to stop split ends but I doubt it will get much longer. By having a high pony it gives a great feeling of movement and is very presentable.
I survived schooling with much longer hair but it was hard work and received loads of grief even from teachers. I guess without my Mom I would not have stuck with it but here now and pleased to be in the minority!
