the sensation of weight

One of the things I'm finding I really like about having longer hair is the sensation of having weight on the top of my head. Perhaps I especially notice this because my back and sides are cut short. Does anyone else love this about long hair? I remember hearing that one girl's hair was so heavy it actually caused her neck pain according to her doctor. I wish I had hair like that!
By the way, I updated my site showing what a typical hair day is for me. I go through a metamorphosis of looks.
